Can I just come in here and hide for a bit?

There’s a reason I don’t generally post on Wednesdays, and that reason is called When Shit Gets Real At Nutty’s Day Job.

Wednesdays here are even nuttier than I am. Wednesdays are when we make up for the laid-back work atmosphere we enjoy the other four days of the business week by holding a one-day festival of pure, concentrated crazy. I have spent this Earth Day making every tree in a ten mile radius cry at how many of their dead brethren I have used up printing out report after report.

Sorry, Earth.

Anyway, when I finally had a minute to breathe, I took a look at the potential A to Z topics I had come up with for today, and decided I didn’t feel like writing about any of them. So then I tried to think up some more, but nothing really spoke to me, and then after a while I realized I wasn’t even thinking in words anymore because all the S sounds floating around in my brain had just kind of coalesced into one long, “Shhhhhhhhhhh…”

And you know what? That sounded like pretty good advice.
