Excuse me while I tear my hair out.

Um, holy shit guys, Nano Poblano starts tomorrow.

OCTOBER, YOU ORANGE PUMPKIN-SPICED CANDY-CORN-LITTERED BASTARD, WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU DISAPPEAR TO IN SUCH A DAMN HURRY?

Spoiler alert: I am not remotely in the least even potentially ready for the task of posting every day for a month so I take no responsibility for the quality or lack thereof of any and all posts for the next 30 days.

Read at your own risk, and if you happen to be within a ten-block radius of me right now, please disregard the screaming; I’m sure my vocal cords’ll give out eventually.

  1. Good luck Nutty! You are a braver/sillier girl than I. I have a snowflake’s chance in hell of posting every day but I might try to post three times a fortnight… that’s a lot for me. Imma call it LoSliMoOfBloPoMo. (Local Slightly More Often Blog Posting Month.)

  2. … I feel like I should know what that is. I know what NaNoWriMo is. I recently found out about Inktober. And I guess I know vaguely that NaNo Ploblano it’s where you post every day throughout November, but I can’t even work out what it stands for. Also I visited the site and apparently peppers are a thing?

    • LOL

NaBloPoMo = National Blog Posting Month.
Nano Poblano = funnier and easier to say than NaBloPoMo.
At midnight on November 1st we all turn into poblano peppers and therefore spend the rest of the month hiding away in our homes for fear of becoming someone’s dinner. The daily blogging helps pass the time.

See? Not so complicated at all.

  3. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks October is too short. Fortunately it’s still…GAH! IT’S NOVEMBER 2ND! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?
And why is the temperature still in the mid-80’s? That’s Fahrenheit. If it were the mid-80’s Celsius then we’d really be in trouble. That would be almost as bad as having to relive the actual mid-80’s with the big hair and rampant cocaine abuse.

  4. I’m ready and eager for your thirty days of posts! That’s quite the undertaking. As I’m writing this, I have this urge to say–hey! I’ll join you!–but the truth is that I don’t think I can. It’s that simple and that sad. Anyway, looking forward to reading! šŸ™‚

    • It always starts out feeling a bit daunting, that’s for sure. But the nice thing about NaBloPoMo/Nano Poblano compared to most other blogging challenges is that you can publish whatever the heck you want and it counts. No pressure to stick to a theme or even write if you don’t want to. Not in a writing mood? Put up a photo. Tell a joke. Drop a single emoji if you’re just not feeling anything else. Anything goes!

Just something to think about for next year. šŸ™‚
